Black In Immuno Week

Black in Immuno Week (#BlackInImmunoWeek) is a week-long celebration of Black immunologists in academic research and industry. The event, held annually, features virtual seminars, panel discussions and social media events to highlight scientific achievements and journeys of Black scientists in the field of immunology. The overarching goals of the event is to:

Amplify voices of Black immunologists and visibilize their scientific achievement. Give an opportunity to Black researchers to present their work in front of an international audience and get feedback from peers.
Connect Black immunologists, with scientists and research communities interested in their work, and foster collaborations with teams working in the same field.
Inspire next generations of trainees to pursue careers in science, in the field of Immunology
Give an opportunity to allies in our scientific ecosystem (research institutions, companies, publishers and non-profits) to discover, engage and get involved in the celebration and amplification of Black immunologists.
